Flann's Dual Polarised Horn Antenna DP241-AB
provides ultra Broadband performance
Bandwidth is a valuable resource and as the airwaves become evermore crowded with RF, knowing what bandwidth is available or where interference is coming from has become a burning issue for many link operators and
installers.
To address the problem, Flann have extended the frequency range of their DP240 series of dual polarised antennas.
The DP241-AB dual polarised antenna has been specifically
designed to provide the highest receiving bandwidth for both polarisation's
thus providing a powerful tool for tracking down unknown sources
of interference and mapping the RF terrain.
The antenna has a unique design with two orthogonal 2.92mm or 2.4mm
coaxial interfaces allowing the user the ability to receive or launch
RF from 18GHz through to 40GHz in either polarisation.
A 1.85mm connector is under development to extend the frequency range to 70GHz. This Flann antenna is the only product the market capable of such bandwidth.
The horn utilise's state of the art numerical machining techniques
to realise the extreme tolerances required at these frequencies.
The proprietary construction method used ensures that the antenna
provides the same quality and robustness expected of a Flann product
whilst at the same time offering superior performance at a competitive
price.
