Flann's waveguide components range encompass all areas of microwave and millimetre systems and test applications.

Flann waveguide Short Circuits features a length of waveguide which houses a non-contacting choked low-high-low impedance piston.  Careful choke design ensures freedom from spurious resonances.

The piston movement for each model is greater than half the wavelength at the lowest frequency. Reflection coefficient is >0.995 up to WG19 reducing to >0.980 for WG27.

The Flann Series 441 of Waveguide Straights and Flange to Flange Adaptors are available in waveguide bands from 1.14 to 112 GHz. The overall length and flange types must be specified at the time of inquiry.

Flann Waveguide bends are available in E and H Plane configurations with an angle of 90 degrees. Bends to other angles can be supplied to special order.  Typical VSWR of 1.05:1 is seen from WG10 to WG19 rising to 1.1:1 for bends in the WG20 to WG29 range.

Flann Twists are manufactured from sections of standard waveguide which have been precisely twisted whilst maintaining the internal waveguide dimensions.  Standard Models are 90 degree left hand twists. Other configurations and angles are available on special order.
